We do not meet anyone by accident…every meeting has a purpose – it could be a reason or a lesson. Either way, we learn. And by learning, we win — does not matter if the ending was good or bad. What counts is that after the fact, we become better persons.
Sometimes, people break us — but, by breaking us, they allow us to grow maturely and beautifully. Sometimes, people hurt us — only to make us strong. Sometimes, people leave us — only so we would learn how to stand on our own two feet. Sometimes, people push us into the water —only to teach us how to swim.
Hence, when someone turns your world upside down, remember this wise words from Rumi:
“Every human being is a guest house. Every morning a new arrival. A joy, a depression, a meanness, some momentary awareness comes from an unexpected visitor. Welcome and attend them all. Even if they are a crowd of sorrows who violently sweep your house empty of its furniture; still, treat each guest honorably. He may be clearing you out for some new delight.”
